The rooms were booked through the travel company, and I will say it was a smaller room and not what I was used to. The bathroom was ..."small but immaculately clean and housed a bidet, toilet, sink and area to get ready as well as a full shower and bath tub. The views out the window were of the front of the hotel. I stayed on the second floor (seems to be a theme wherever I stay :) ). The staff were ASTOUNDING. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Despite the language barrier Paula who worked at the front desk made sure I had enough shampoo at all times. I had asked for extra on my first day and every day the housekeeping staff would make sure I had plenty. So sweet! Our meals were delicious and the service was top notch.   "Le Gole is a charming rustic hotel on the outer edges of Celano. You can't find better value. The restaurant next door is well worth it as well. At the top of Celano be sure to visit the historic castle."

  "While this quaint hotel is beautiful and the views of the mountains are unparalleled and they have recently added WiFi (a bit shaky needing restarts frequently) I simply don't understand why they can't serve a decent breakfast. No fresh juice, no milk for cereal, last 2 slices of bread every morning...", dry cheese - why is it so difficult to serve a hot breakfast? Having said that I am happy to stay here again just for the traditional nature of the place. There is also a restaurant attached or there is one right next to the hotel owned by some other family member, I am told.
