The Vallon is beautiful, interesting, it has been restored with taste by the owners respecting the original architecture, the environment and especially the country where the house is, in Provence, in France! Our room was gorgeous, large and so was our bathroom. Ev..."erything about this place is delightful. Michèle spent a lot of time with us explaining all the work she had done to the property, she was also very helpful in choosing and booking restaurants for us with great success. The weather was awful when we were there but we had the lounge which they called La Grange to ourselves where we could check and write our emails, Fred even brought us a cup of tea when he saw us working there.   "The beauty of this tastefully restored property is simply breathtaking, located in its own delightful gardens and vines. On arrival we were greeted by owner, Michele who led us and our bags to the second floor room (really only negative, car park to room with bags was an effort, be warned f not tra..."velling light!). Breakfasts in the garden were sumptuous by any standard and the mini croissants the best I have ever tasted! Many top end restaurants in the locality. & Michele is happy to recommend however be careful some are pricey! Lunch is a great way to enjoy these fabulous restaurants at reasonable prices. The Cabanette in the village is a great pizza option and have to say was terrific! The pool area is very welcoming and offers basic facilities to rustle up some salads etc. The use of the BBQ wasn't offered however not sure if this was due to fact that the owners were somewhat preoccupied with the upcoming family wedding.   "The house is beautifully restored, the park surrounding it beautiful, and the breakfast was excellent. We stayed in the Rose room, which was very gracious and looked out on the park and centuries-old plane trees. The wifi did not reach the room, sadly, but could be accessed in the common room. L'Occ..."itane toiletries are provided, as are supplies for in-room tea. The house is reached via a very narrow paved road a few min from the larger highway, so beware the fast-driving locals. But this also means you are staying in a haven of peace, well-placed logistically for seeing the beautiful Provence towns. " More >
