If it's seclusion & tranquility coupled with great service & a fine room that you're after, then look no further than the Passage House hotel. With what we experienced on our previous stay here to what we had second time ..."round, the hotel seems to of raised it's game somewhat in pretty much all aspects. Certainly I can't find fault with the service element-Kate at the front of house is a real find, going beyond her duty to help us find places to visit with our toddler son, organising firstly a travel cot, & then a "Z" bed for our son because the cot wasn't big enough, these are just a couple of things that she did for us when we arrived-all staff were attentive & helpful & polite at all times also. The room we had was spacious, with a great bathroom his & hers sinks (so the wife this time can't accuse me of making the sink dirty with toothpaste marks etc), a lovelly corner bath & power shower.   "This is our second stay here, which was even more enjoyable than the first. The location is beautiful and if you can, try to book a room looking out across a stunning view of the Teign estuary. It's worth it! I was particularly impressed by the staff who are very friendly and welcoming. The food..." was excellent and the bar prices very competitive. It's also a great place to relax boasting a fine swimming pool, fitness centre, sauna and steam room. I would have no hesitation in recommending this fine hotel and will definitely return. I would also like to make a special mention about manager Carley Warren, whose positive moments often appear on Trip Advisor underneath visitors' comments and show that customer satisfaction is paramount to her and as a representative of Best Western. We had a small problem, which she resolved very promptly and professionally and I cannot speak highly enough about her. Nice one Carley, you and your staff deserve to succeed! " More >
