The hotel is in the centre of the town, a pretty mix of narrow streets white houses with terracotta tiled roofs and a wonderful small plaza with a church dating back to the town's moorish roots. The fountain there has supplied fresh water for the residents for hundreds of years. Numerous small bars and cages surround the square, serving tapas, coffee or alcohol. Most evenings the tables are occupied by the local friendly residents and there seem to be only a few tourists who are made to feel very welcome.
