The outside does look a little tired, but the car park is spacious, and once inside the hotel the welcome was excellent, and the service efficient. The rooms were all very well appointed, superbly clean, and comfortable. We did not eat at the hotel, but did use the bar, which was well stocked. A couple of our group used the gym. The hotel is a few miles out of..." the centre of Salamanca, far enough to be quiet, near enough to visit, though you'd obviously need transport (very large free car park surrounding hotel). It is always difficult to judge a hotel on its food and dining room service when travelling with a group, however, we were served well with average food for our evening meal and an average self service buffet for breakfast. We travelled in late February so we did not partake of the hotels full facilities. There is a camping and caravanning area within the hotel grounds and a very large swimming pool, which is presumably available to hotel and camping guests alike.
