I don't mind as usually I am so bushed when I get to go to bed at night, I don't hear anything, I pity those next door if I start snoring. Great breakfast facility next door - all you can eat for a few quid... give it a visit and don't read too much into bad reviews, I had a great nights sleep in a comfy bed, in a lovely room in gorgeous surroundings.
