I stayed in the semi delux room, which was 2500/- per night. The bed linens are good, you will be given a room heater completely free of cost. Also tea/cofee maker is available. The best part of the resort is the restaurant, it was certainly a surprise in Gahrwal. They serve various veg and non veg dishes including chinese.   "We stayed in this hotel for 5 to 6 days during sept 2010 and it was an excellent experience even though circumstances were very difficult. We were stuck in the middle of a terrible weather where it poured in badrinath and surrounding regions for 3 full days, cutting off our access to the rest of the..." country. We were completely stranded in badrinath for a week while the army guys were repairing the roads. We did not even know when we would leave badrinath and we were running short of cash as well. There was only one functioning SBI (god bless them) ATM and that that too was running out of cash. I was told that there were around 400 pilgrims stranded in badrinath in 3rd and 4th week of september due to the weather. But inside Dwarikesh it was all bliss. The hotel staff ensured that we were treated well with whatever limited resources were available at their disposal (remember there was no way in or out of badrinath for 4 to 5 days and all essential supplies were running dry).
