  "Although Mcleod has several great budget hotels, Chonor House is probably the only one in the comfort luxury category. The hotel offers large spacious rooms with balconies, each one uniquely theme decorated with no two rooms with the same internal look except probably Lungta 1 and Lungta 2. Most ..."rooms have large glass windows offering beautiful mountain views. The spacious bathrooms are all well done, offering a shower cubicle with overhead and hand showers. The staff, mostly females, is super efficient and courteous and goes out of the way to accomodate guests requests. The restaurant serves delicious tibetan and continental delicacies. The open air section of the restaurant offers a view of the Dalai Lama temple on one side and the beautiful mountain peaks on the other. The Hotel also offers locker facilities - which can be so useful when you want to include an overnight trek to Triund during your stay at Mcleod.
