Even when we requested an extra mattress for our kid, the room service was very quick to provide us the sam..."e. However some rooms didnt have the AC functioning properly. The restaurant in the ground floor definitely had a major AC issue and in sweltering May it was hard sitting there for long. The restaurant food is also strictly ok - the restaurant staff are unfriendly bordering on rude even! They also had only room temperature water. STRIKE TWO:- About couple of months ago when we decided to got to Guruvayur temple, MAYURA RESIDENCY was the option for our stay.The Parking lot was spacious, The Lobby was very welcoming, loved the Mural paintings on the walls.The front desk staff was very courteous.A room boy assisted us to our room, The room was spacious, neat and tidy. We rested for a while and decided to go for darshan in the evening. After a good Darshan inspite of the heavy rush at the Temple,We enjoyed the walk back to our hotel, with shops on either sides selling variety of stuffs from the famous guruvayur pappadam, textile shops selling the traditional kerala sarees, lots of souvenirs like photo frames,...
