  "Very relaxing with all our needs provided"
  "We spent three wonderfully relaxing nights at Ellis Lodge with our family. The house has everything you could possibly want in a holiday home including a fantastically equipped kitchen which had everything I needed to make a complete roast dinner, from kitchen scales and Yorkshire pudding tin to TWO..." microwave ovens. We also used the barbecue and the bi fold doors from the dining area make the indoors and outdoors become one. We didn't watch much television but when we did want to see some sport there were two large screens to choose from. Something I was looking for in a holiday property was three double bedrooms and I found this extremely rare but Ellis Lodge had exactly what I wanted even providing en suite bathrooms for all the bedrooms. The digital radios with docking stations, which are in all bedrooms, proved very useful. The area around the property is absolutely full of interesting and beautiful places to visit.   "Accomodation is luxury at its best ....three double bedrooms all with ensuites ( each bedroom has room for a travel cot) all mod cons, heated flooring, large flat screen tv in lounge and kitchen. Nice touches with welcome pack, slippers and fluffy towels. I personally found the mattresses very hard ..."but this was my opinion the others residing didn't have a problem. Outdoor seating areas off the kitchen & lounge are lovely especially with a bit of sun ;) Location is great for the Forest of Dean and particularly people interested in a walking break. Although we still had a brilliant time, families need to be aware that a lot of the attractions only open at weekends or during half term/summer holidays. Not great on a 4 day break. Also a number are not buggy accessible. Food for thought if you have kiddies under 4.
