  "The stay at Wisdom Inn was definitely the highlight of our trip to Guilin! Sandy arranged for a clean, comfortable, and safe van with a great driver, who picked us up from the airport. We were upgraded to a spacious three-person room, overlooking the stream and the bridge. The whole inn feels like a Swiss chalet, is immaculately clean, there is always hot water, the breakfast is copious and very tasty. The sound of water is so soothing! Sandy is a delightful hostess and offers an interesting perspective on the village life. We greatly enjoyed chatting with her on the inn's porch. She is quick in responding to emails and accommodating requests, and also speak very good English.   "This hotel is what memories are made of... superb in all respects (as other reviewers document). Dont let the 'low' price fool you... this property is ranked number one for a reason. The only thing i didn't see on other reviews (that guests should be aware of) is the hotel is only reachable via a ..."foot path (maybe a kilometer long) that rises several hundred feet. You'll want to limit your luggage for the trip up and down but the hike is quite doable. Porterage is available at additional cost if necessary. In short, i would return here in a heart beat and spend several days hiking the area. " More >
