There was also a sand pit area which included a slide and 'tree house' type of thing, again this was shaded so perfect for the little ones to play in without worrying about too much exposure to the sun. Miniland was perfect for kids of all ages, they had paid activites for different age ranges but also had open house sessions everyday. In these sessions you could go in there and use all the facilities free of charge with your child. The size of the hotel complex is huge with plenty of places to hide and read a good book. The hotel was full, but due to the size you never felt that it was full. There is two good swimming pools and even at lunch time we found a sun bed. Note, some of the paving stones around the sea water pool do need to be replaced as they are cracked and appear to be weather beaten, but don't let it put you off. Our room was of reasonable size, very balcony and great view of the resort looking up the coast line.
