  "We just returned from our vacation at Turtle Beach. Overall, we had a nice stay; however, I was a little disappointed in our room. The room was much smaller than I had anticipated. We were expecting 2 queen beds, but received one king. This would have been great, except that our 18 year old son ..."was staying with us. He had to sleep on a lumpy, thin mattress on the sofa bed, which was located right next to our bed. By the end of our trip, he was experiencing back pain and stiffness. Unfortunately, our king was was also uncomfortable. Regardless of the room, we enjoyed the plentiful drinks while we sat by the pools and the unbelievably beautiful beach... water was a brilliant turquoise. The 2 pools were nice sized and the hot tub was large enough to comfortably accommodate several people. The staff outside at the water sports booth were friendly and accommodating, especially Greg and Ricky. I felt that at least half of the restaurant staff was rude and hated their jobs. The fo...   "Our early June visit to Turtle Beach Resort (TB) was only the third major (5+ days) vacation for my husband and I, who are in our mid-40s. Our prior two trips (for our honeymoon and our 5-year anniversary) had both been cruises, but for our 10-year anniversary celebration, we decided we wanted to d..."o something a little different. Still, we knew we wanted an all-inclusive experience, which is one of the reasons we choose TB. We did also consider Elegant Hotel’s other all-inclusive, Crystal Cove (CC), but we wound up choosing TB due to the slightly larger size, the all-suite rooms, and the greater dining options. However, during our stay at TB, we visited CC for dinner one evening; more on that excursion below. This was our first visit to Barbados, and we greatly enjoyed our holiday overall.
