We did not use the dome but had a look and it was ideal for brushing up or learning to ski. There is a very well stocked supermarket with fresh bread and pasteries backed on the premises. We stayed in the VIP cottage which is clean and compact. It had a lovely view over the lake and we had many ducks cominig up to be fed. The decor was basic but clean and the bathroom was very large with its own sauna, the only thing it didnt have in there was a toilet!! For some reason the ONLY toilet in the property is located out in the hallway where it was freezing cold and it is SO tiny very hard to move in there, plus only tiny sink with cold wate... " More >

  "We have been to a Centre Parcs in Holland before about 11 years ago but this was the first time at De Kempervennen. We chose it for the snow dome (Montana Ski Centre) which is located within the Centre Parcs grounds but is a separate entity. That said we were able to book ski lesson packages at a ..."reduced rate in advance via the centre parcs website / help line and the centre parcs staff on the helpline were knowledgeable and helpful about the ski centre. It was all easily booked, hastle free, dealing with friendly staff and all together a lovely experience. My 5 yr old can now ski down a main slope through cones and do some minor jumps (he is far better than me after his 6 hours of lessons). We will definitely be returning next year and probably again the year after (so he can learn to snowboard once he is 8!!)
