Our cottage on the lake accommodated two couples very comfortably. This is cottage country and the accommodations are very cottage like. But charming and spotless. The view is spectacular. The food was fantastic. My girlfriend and I are planning a girls weekend here as soon as possible because they also have a spa:D Our husbands loved the golf course across the street and we all enjoyed an evening at the casino nearby. Just a great getaway. I just have to thank the staff for being so generous and accommodating.   "We wanted a cabin around the 1,000 island area and were happily surprised to stay at one of the best KOA's we have ever stayed at (and we stay at A LOT). The price was unbelievably low, but may be so because we came in off season (mid-May). The property is well maintained including the flower beds...". They had a really neat playground. We used both the hot tub and pool facilities which they opened just for us one night. Very friendly staff and easy check in. Inside dishwashing station helped us save on meals out. There were propane grills, microwaves, fridge and nice fire ring and patio. Plenty of trees on grounds to make it more natural. The bathrooms were very pretty and clean, however the stalls and shower area was a bit cramped for my taste. If they could move the stall door back just a few inches that would be nice. We utilized the hiking trails with our two dogs and they were peaceful and pretty, but not exceptionally scenic or any major vistas. They were exceptionally p... " More >
