  "Anand Retreat is not a hotel in Lansdowne, it is a jungle resort. The way to the resort is unbelievable... you won't believe your vehicle can go down that path...I remember the girls cribbing and everyone cursing the resort owner and it was decided that we have been conned. It was a roller coaste..."r ride :) the best...I enjoyed it thoroughly and anticipated the unknown. The staff is very simple and good hearted people, they do not know how to maintain the resort, but man it was a super beutiful place. The resort was not maintained and pool was dirty, garden not maintained, it was all so naturally beutifull. This all gave a feel like we actually are in a jungle and not a hotel or resort. Mosr people fail to see that and expect 3-star hotel treatment. These guys will not con you, ask for their guide to give you a tour of the surrounding forrest in morning 6-8am, it is heavenly, this resort is best situated. If you are going for a weekend get away and not sight seeying like old ... " More >

  "We had one of the most memorable and pleasant vacation at Blue Pine REsort, Lansdowne. 2 nights and 3 days package.... a value for money proposition.... Nice spacious rooms... Clean furnishings and bathroom.... Quality food... Every meal raised the BAR higher..... Courteous staff.... Excell..."ent service... people can forget all work behind... Boss cannot follow you as there are no cellular signals following you.... But in case of emergency, walk 50 mtrs, behind the temple at the bend of the road and you are on the network.... Make as many calls as you want and come back to the hotel to enjoy the tranquil peace, gazing at the valley below.... Needs improvement of the Pool table where the cloth padding was torn, and the TT table was bent in the middle... There is a gym but didnt use it as we just were enjoying the beauty of the valley and the cool breeze.... Evenings were around the Bonfire and DJ belting out cool numbers for guests to dance...
