Then waking up the next morning to nothing but the sounds of nature and going for a walk to explore the surrounding countryside before breakfast. During our stay, we visited Ludlow, drove across the border into Wales and tried many of the local pubs and restaurants. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Shropshire and agreed that we should do it again soon. I'm writing this review a year after our last visit because I have just found Bramleys on Trip Advisor and we are all planning to return again in a few months time! " More >

  "I needed to stay in Clun because I had business in the area, and because I was coming to rural Shropshire and my wife wanted to come too with our dog, I chose the Sun, as it was happy to provide vegan food and accept the dog. The Sun charged £60 a night for the two of us, plus £5 for the dog, w..."hich would have been great value even if it had been pretty basic. It's not luxurious, but it's clean and comfortable, the owner and staff are all friendly, the food and beer are decent and the rooms are quiet. For those reasons it's terrific value. " More >

Breakfasts are first class and the evening meals offer a good choice at a good price. The Clun Beers which are produced on the premises are well worth trying. The White Horse is dog friendly and this is the reason we first visited. Clun is a lovely small town in a quiet part of the country. Lots of excellent walking to be had in the area. We will return and I can fully recommend this establishment to others. " More >
