The only downside is their beautiful sandbar at the other side of the island, it's public and it's a destination of a lot of boats bringing tourists in the area so you can never claim it private though you are a guest of Sumilon. There's always a lot of people there. I still found a space to enjoy the sandbar though, I never thought it's that huge. I think they need to spruce up the resort more to make it more cozy and soft since the island is rocky and sharp as it is a coral island.... " More >

  "it all starts from the waiting area , where u wait for the boat to bring you over to Sumilon from the mainland ......from the welcome drink to the little white jetty/bridge the crystal clear water and cool breeze are just perfect .....the anticipation while waiting can drive you crazy ... The wat..."er gets better once you reach Sumilon , its so pristine and almost perfect ......there is no way you can resist taking photos at the sandbar , its just gorgeous ..... The rooms are big , with 2 full size beds and a huge washroom , the staff was friendly and nice and they greeted you everywhere , even those contractors around the island still greeted you while you are trekking around the island ....the food i must say is also very good ... we were there before all the big hoohaa about the Butanding / whale shark sighting in oslob which brought more visitors there i guess ...i hope they can still maintain the beauty of the island even with the sudden insurgence of more tourists ......   "I cannot erase the smile on my face as I saw the glamping tents. They were perfectly equipped with the basic (and luxurious) needs of a wannabe camper. I've never seen anything like this. The service is excellent. We had our own butler / camping assistant. He looked and checked out on us all the ..."time. He brought us anything we requested for. The food are all awesome!
