The slopes were a lot shorter than we were used to in the USA, and they are numbered 1 - 15 - no names here. There is only 1 'mountain', the front slopes and the back slopes. We are intermediate, and 1 week was enough, any longer we would have been bored of the same runs. They only have Tbar and button lifts, so that gives you an indication of the compactness of the resort. There is one cafe at the bottom of the slopes and one near the top. As we were on a relaxing holiday it was perfect for us. we took our time, had plenty of 'hot chocolate' stops, and had fun. The hotel offers a variety of different daily activities to its hotel guests and obviously has teamed up with Finn Jann Huskies to offer a complete package. H..."owever, I feel the hotel could have given more attention to people on a multi-week programme. I feel the Hotel should fit out its multi-week guests on the day or night of arrival rather than just before the start of your first activity. This would have meant that we could have spent a bit more time getting proper fitting boots and gloves and not rush around trying to get all the gear we needed for the day's dog sledding. That morning we kept 6 other people waiting in the taxi for us while we got our gear. The room had everything you could need, the heated flooring of the bathroom was appreciated after a cold day in the snow, the upper bedroom was very warm and cosy. Ours was a 5-10 min stroll from the hotel but nothing too far and the fun you can have snow ball fighting and sliding down the hills to and from it for food etc were fun. The Eagle Suite was amazing, it was a 5 star experience, Again another bottle of champagne and more chocolate waited for us. The spa bath upstairs with the views of the mountain etc was fantastic. The heated flooring throughout and clothes dryer etc were all well used and appreciated. ... " More >
