The staff is friendly, trying to fulfill your wishes, especially the guides we want to point out. We loved our room with a large balcony and a beautiful view.   "Hosteria de la Patagonia is a quaint farmhouse just outside of town, about a 10 minute walk from the supermercado and a 20 minute walk from the port where the ferry departs. We paid 24,000CLP for a twin room with shared bathroom. The two communal bathrooms were very clean and modern. The beds w..."ere comfy and the hostess brought us a portable electric heater to keep us warm at night. Breakfast was fairly standard: cereal with sweet yogurt, bread, jam, instant coffee and tea. There is no kitchen available for guest use. We were, however, able to put a bit of cheese and deli meats into the fridge and borrow a knife and plates in order to make a sandwich. We stayed in mid-April when the apple trees were heavy with fruit. We were invited to eat the fruit straight from the trees - delicious and sweet.
