We lucked out a few days before the trip by being able to upgrade to a rim-side cabin. What a treat! Our porch was overlooking the canyon, and had the most incredible views. I would def..."initely recommend booking far enough in advance to get one of these cabins. (We were in 306.) The cabin itself was comfortable, if not fancy. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. Even if you can't get one with a view, it's definitely worthwhile to stay at the lodge, as the other nearest accommodations are pretty far away. They had everything we needed there, including a couple different restaurant options, a small store, and even laundry facilities at the nearby campground. " More >

  "Stayed here as part of a package booked through Grand Canyon Railroad. Location can't be beat. A very short walk to where the blue and red shuttle buses meet, maybe 5 minutes. You also get a lovely view of the Canyon from there. Check in was fast and easy, our room was even ready a couple hours ear..."ly. They provide maps to find your room and the process couldn't be easier. If you book through Grand Canyon Railroad then your luggage is even transfered from their hotel in Williams to your room here and back, could not be simpler. Free wifi at office and cafeteria areas but room reception can be spotty. Food court onsite is reasonably priced and food was good. Particularly liked the pizza. Room was a little dark because they use CF bulbs to save energy. Furniture was a little dated but would certainly stay here again. " More >
