I stayed in the sunset terrace rooms, which were two full beds a mini fridge and bathroom. The walls were thin, the decor outdated and the toilet leaked. However, the room was..." cleaned daily, the hotel staff freindly, and when we were in between tours, we could walk the beautiful paths in the park out our front door. The beds were comfortable enough and we had no issues at all with the room, which was big enough to add our inflatable queen bed for the kids. Again, the room has not been updated witll the early 80's, I'm guessing, but the fringe benefits if being a walk from the visitor center and inside the park, instead of 15 minutes away like every place else, overshadowed all of that. Love the 1950-60 feel of the place. The cabins are nice too we tried them once. Check out the restaurant for dinner, we've never had bad food there. There are paths right near the Sunset rooms that are great for a morning or whenever walk. " More >
