  "My wife and I stayed at Den Laman in November of 2012. We loved this place. Conveniently located relative to town and both the north and south coasts and great house reef (Bari). We really wanted an ocean front one bedroom. I was initially told that they were booked up the week we were to be ..."traveling, but they could give us a two bedroom ocean view (not ocean front) for the same price. I made our flight reservations and then called back to book the room. I spoke with a different agent who said the one bedroom ocean front was actually available for 6 nights of our 7 night stay, so we could have that if we didn’t mind moving to another room the last night. Perfect! The one bedroom ocean front was terrific. Second floor, with a beautiful view of Klein Bonaire. Nice kitchen area complete with pots, pans, utensils, dishware, etc. The living area was large, and the bathroom was nice…except that without a shower curtain, the floor got a bit wet after showering. First , let me say that D..."en Laman is modern; the furnishings are very nice.Comfortable and welcoming..Kitchen is up to date and usable. We eat our breakfast and lunch in every day as the cost of food in BonAire is sky high. The view from our two bedroom was exquisite. Every morning, we had coffee on the large terrace. In the late afternoon, enjoyed the sunset on same.IF you don't get a room facing the water; the parking lot with all attendent noise does not add much to the vacation.In fact, if the only room availble faced the parking lot.. well I would find somewhere else to stay. We are scuba divers..Hence the trip to BonAire.. this is not the first trip.. maybe the 5.. and the dive shop on premises has decline... " More >
