The apartments are walking distance to downtown and next door to the Carib Inn which has a fantastic & affordable dive program. We did two boat dives d..."aily and went all over ( north, south and Klein ) -- most other dive shops just do Klein. We didn't rent a car but instead rented a scooter and took it all over the island. Air conditioner work well. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots, pans and dishes. Good size fridge. Maid service every other daily. Very quiet. Nice porch to enjoy the breeze. Large safe holds laptop. Only very minor complaint is the pillows aren't very comfortable. But all in all a great find. Owners are super friendly and very helpful too. " More >

  "Our small group traveled to Bonaire last week for a diving vacation. For a couple of us, this was our 4th trip to the Sand Dollar; for others, it was the first. With the connection to Bonaire Dive and Adventures, and the spacious, well equipped condos, the vacation was perfectly simple, comfortabl..."e, and easy. The views from the condos are all ocean front--gorgeous Bonaire leeward side. Hard to beat 24-7 scuba access right outside your door. We were a bit unhappy to learn Eddys restaurant no longer served breakfast on the weekdays---but we found Between 2 Buns right next door, and it was fabulous for breakfast, lunch, or anytime. (And the ice cream shop next door was excellent as well.) The Sand Dollar seemed a bit less well maintained than our veterans remembered, but still no complaints. Maid service was only 2 days per week--but new towels could be obtained any day. Previous reviewers who complained about the outdoor maintenance work going on during the day had a point--it was...   "Best yet again"
  "This was our second trip to this resort. This time we had 36 customers. Just like before they exceeded all our expectations. Clean rooms, excellent food and of course the diving. 81 degrees water and lots to see. We plan to return in 2 years for sure."
