The Frenchman's is located a 15 minute walk to Soper's Hole were there are shops, restaurants, a grocery store and sailboat excursions to other islands. The slight non-positive (for me it turned out to be awesome) was that the beach is small and the swimming area is breaked by rocks because the water has a strong current. This is great for kids, But if you love long white beaches this is not the place. However, if you love to snorkel this is where you will be very happy. The in room massages were also great so was the charter yacht for the day to Norman Island! If we stayed at Tortola again, we would definately go back to Frenchmans. The staff are all very friendly and eager to help. We stayed in a one bedroom villa which was very well fitted out and extremely comfortable! The only thing about the room we didnt like was the steep and narrow stairs where a lot of caution was needed when going up or down.
