Even the Maldives (okay, maybe there - I've never been) could not have water as crystal clear. That shallow, translucent water is only found in the shallow island shelf of the Bahamas. The blue is so clear at times it can hurt your eyes. We love other places too like Peter Island and Guana Island in the BVI but they are much more expensive. Dollar for dollar, I'd be hard pressed to find a better deal. We just got back from 6 days on the Island and it was spectacular. As I am uncomplicated I could deal with having salt water only (showers!) but I could imagine that not everybody would like this.....
