  "As a first time visitor, I'm so very glad we choose Las Cabanas to stay. We thought about renting in Nopolo Village (more of a resort experience and maybe good for families as we didn't see many kids in town) but it is not convenient to town. You would definitely need a car to drive 25 mins each wa..."y (too far/hot to bike) and we would have missed out on a great local experience/ adventures. Having the free bikes available was great and you didn't have to worry about traveling at night to get anywhere because everything was within walking/biking distance. The variety of restaurants and access to the marina made it easy to decide last minute to do something. The afternoon Happy Hours at Augies which are right around the corner (go on Weds as their chocolate clams are to die for!) and best of all, the Cabanas are so quiet & restful where the hosts have anticipated what you need to make your visit memorable. The rooms are beautiful with good size and wonderful views out the balcony of the Sea of Cortez. The pool and bar area are beautiful and again the service is outstanding. ..." The restaurant in the hotel has a very nice menu with superb Mexican dishes. We never had anything but a great meal there. The rates are reasonable and our stay was wonderfully relaxing. The front desk staff will arrange for you the many activities available in Loreto. The companies they use for sea kayaking and touring the islands offered exceptional service as well.
