  "We stayed at Playa Azul Tulum at the end of February 2013. It was simply lovely and I'm hard pressed to think of anything that others haven't said about it already. We stayed in Room #20 which is above the restaurant. More of a hotel room than a cabana, but, there was a loft area with a futon,..." table and lamp which is not shown in the pictures. I would assume that most of the rooms above the restaurant have something like this. Hightlights: -Wonderful friendly staff - front desk, wait staff, cleaning people all great. -Beautiful grounds and beach - breathtaking view from our room. -Great food in the restaurant - the menu is small but the food is delicious. Breakfast and lunch menus were particularily appealing t us. Eggs in a Pot for breakfast! Shrimp tacos and ceviche for lunch. -Very clean room with great smelling linens - our room was swept completely free of sand each day which I found miraculous and took a lot of effort.   "We had such an awesome time at Posada Luna del sur. There are so many great things to say about this place. A. Tom, the owner is fantastic. Couldn't be better host. He took probably 30 min to 1 hour every morning at breakfast to answer all of our questions about Tulum and give suggestions about grea..."t places to go, see, and find the best deals in town. We definitely felt very welcomed, happy, comfortable and safe. B. The rooms are very clean. The beds are very comfortable and we slept great. C. The price is right. We stayed at an all inclusive the week prior and paid slightly more for a much less pleasant experience. The food at the all inclusive was really not good. Posada Luna del sur on the other hand, the breakfast is awesome and service staff is very friendly. It's obvious that they take a lot of pride in their work. I really enjoyed the laid back feeling of the hotel and yet the professionalism of all the staff. I completely plan on going back, 100%. " More >
