  "Wow...if you are looking for a view, stay here....we will be back. After bus, train and van rides, this hotel blew us away. When we arrived at the hotel, we were driven to our room (take the van, its a ways up the hill and the altitude may affect you!). Our group of 14 stayed out on the rim and th..."e views were some of the most magnificent. Be sure to be at the rail from your door for sunrise and sunset. Truly heavenly!! Marie, the mgr., was extremely accommodating. After checking in, she had Victor take us on a walk to the Tarahumara house, along the paths. The altitude did bother a few people. The next morning she arranged for Victor to take us to the park where several took the zip line. This is so far beyond what anyone in our group had done in the various parts of the world. The tram took rest of us across the valley. Meals (and bar) are served at a site near the rooms so you don't need to walk to the main lodge. Doug is always helping out local Tarahumara families with medical procedures, schooling, clothing and much more. We visited homes and even were able to participate in Holy Week festivities...."   "Highly recommend. Every room has a balcony to drink in the infinite panoramas. Great sunsets. The bar and restaurant feature murals of the Tarahumara Indians. Good values at happy hour. Great service. One downside: you have to lug your bags up flights of stairs."
