  "This was a last minute trip for us. We booked 2 days before departure and did not have high expectations. We were very pleasantly surprised! This resort was great for us for a long weekend. We don't have kids so for two adults, 5 days 4 nights, garden suite we had an amazing time. The goal was relax..."ation and we accomplished that easily. Service - exceptional. Ramon and Paul were our poolside servers and were superb. We tipped both well at the end of the trip however many people tip each time. Service in a la carte restaurants was just as good. Friendly, professional, neat and tidy. The service was 100% all around the resort. Food - we were not able to get into the steak house as it was fully booked. A minus but not a big deal for us for this weekend. Japanese....not my favourite, my husband was on the fence. Probably wouldn't go back. San Jose was great for the seating (oceanfront).
