"We spent a fantastic week in the cottage (not the mill) - what a beautiful location and superb accommodation. Lots of nice touches from Simon and Sandie - very helpful and not at all intrusive. Some gorgeous villages around the area (Ashby St Ledgers is just beautiful) and lots of canals, country pu..."bs and places to eat. Handy for cities too. But above all, the cottage was just so relaxing - just what we needed. Will definitely look to return!

"We first stayed in Mill Cottage a couple of years ago, so were back for a repeat visit!
Was just as before, clean, comfortable and with some very welcome new additions - new hot tub, within a new private log style cabin. New larger TV and lovely new white leather sofa & armchair, plus pouffee!

Greeted by Simon, who passed on lots of useful info, some of which we knew, some which we didn't!
The Village itself is lovely. Very quaint and picturesque.
We visited several of the local shops and restaurants. Had a wonderful cream tea in Poppies. An evening meal in The Boat House, which is walking distance and at the bottom of the hill, near the main road. Two for one on main meals. Good choice of food and friendly prompt service. One night we sampled the fish and chips from the Braunston Fryer. Absolutely fantastic. Worth the wait - cooked to order. Best fish and chips we've had for ages.
We also ate at the Admiral Nelson - found at the bottom of Dark Lane. It'd be a long walk ...

"What a lovely place! Felt completely at home the whole time. Lovely breakfast, plenty of tea/coffee etc, and nothing was too much trouble. Really grateful to Mr and Mrs Kelly for a lovely weekend with my 8 year old son.
The only critisism, which is a minor one because I am very fussy with my b..."eds, a little uncomfortable/hard. However I still slept well and would not let this stop me returning in the future! And I know most people lile hard beds these days :)
