  "First let me say, I am biased. This Pension was my boarding school and dorm from 1981 to 1983. I just revisited it for a reunion in June 2012. It has been updated, all rooms have showers, new doors/windows, and it is just as quaint as ever!!! Hildie and now her daughter, Nicole, run it. The "continental breakfast" that Nicole prepares each morning is yummy! Semmels, marmelades, cereals, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, vegetables, coffee and tea! Virtually all rooms boast an outdoor balcony, complete with clothes line for airing out incidentals. This Pension is almost center villlage, so within easy walking access to all other venues - you do not need a car within Faistenau. Additonally, Nicole should double as a travel agent!   "I've found this Pension after a long search. What my family want is a place that near Salzburg but still has countryside feel. The owner, Karolyne sent an email immediately and asked about my group and my preferences. She gave us a very charming 2 bedrooms apartment with an incredible mountain views...". We've stay at the end of March and it was still snowing, so we couldn't have breakfast at the patio. 1) Location : Not too far from main road and only takes around 25-30 minutes from Salzburg by car. I saw bus stop very near the apartment but I wasn't sure about the route. There is a supermarket around 400 yards from the apartment and a very lovely bakery right in front of apartment. It was quiet in the evening. 2) Apartment : The apartment itself is very clean and well equipped. They have TV, but who would watch television while could enjoy beautiful mountain view or take a walk around the place. The bathroom is little bit small but nice and very clean.
