Third, our basement-level, non-smoking, room was fine with more amenities than the basic budget hotels -- fridge, microwave, coffee pot, hairdryer, couch, coffee table, desk with chairs, large-screen TV, DVD player, comfortable bed with nice linens. The only negative was that the window looked out on the parking lot, but we kept the shades drawn. Fourth, the free breakfast was surprisingly good. Hotel is near the outskirts of town so not convenient if your business is downtown but Fort Saint John is not difficuult to get around as it is a small city.
