It has everything imaginable for self catering and to guarantee a perfect stay. The queen bed is very comfortable, there is fast and reliable wifi and cable tv and temperature controlled central heating. The decor is very arty and eclectic of course featuring a bear theme. Felt very homely and welcoming. The entry to the Bears Den is very private and seperate from the owners entry. Lovely to be able to easily stroll and circumnavigate the lake (you can't at Moraine) . Restaurant and bar staff very friendly and obliging and the food is excellent. Lots of places to sit and read and take advantage of the free wifi in the main lodge. The room in the cabin was clean and warm, great log fire and lovely fluffy white towels with spotless bathroom. My only negative is the colours used on the walls and the dull brown duvet covet and chairs made the whole room a bit depressing - even on the lovely sunny days we experienced during our stay. CRMR could take a look at Moraine Lake's use of native Indian type... " More >
