  "neva happened to be at kathua earlier. but i stayed at this hotel due to wedding ceremony there. Its a decently built hotel with co-operative staff ( Young team of boys). Although seemingly in-experienced boys do more then what they know clean heartedly. we were quite many ppl so there were problem..."s like suddenly there no hot water , press wala dint turn up. but all these problems were due to the fact that these ppl have either not catered for so many ppl . Although i must appreciate that that they have a good rooms , clean beddings and lighting facility and the food is splendid ,i dint expect food to be tasty at a place like this but the resturant is truly a money worth. The managerial staff is good and supportive. none of our 40 odd ppl have had any complaints regarding service and staff. lastly i would recommend that if at all u have to stay at kathua ...u must try this rather then getiing troubled any where unknown hotels. We started from Kud at about 9 in the morning and were to reach Pahalgam by 4 p.m. Unfortunately, we got stuck in road blockade twice, o..."nce near Ramban and the second after crossing the Banihal Tunnel. I asked my driver to contact the hotel and tell them to keep our food ready but the answer was that their cook leaves by 7-30 p.m. As it was almost 8 when we requested, they said that the best thing would be to have dinner in any dhaba on the way. However, we could start from Banihal after 9.30 and reached Pahalgam at about 11 in the night. After breakfast at kud, we had nothing for the whole day. After reaching the hotel, we found three persons waiting for us. We requested them if they can arrange something as there were children with us.
