  "We were a bit put off at first sight by the number of residences but then we discovered the rest of the farm! Vast fields, a track down to woods and lakes, stupendous views , lots of petting animals and very well trained dogs that are good company but never beg for food. Very quiet, birdsong instea..."d of traffic and if there is any sun you can eat out in the cottage garden. The farmers are extremely generous with space,heating ,logs and help if you want it. Mark took us and two families with children round the farm by jeep to feed all the animals, told us all about the farm and then to the farm cafe for tea and toast. We bottle fed lambs and looked after an orphan in an incubator. Aside from the farm our daughter surfed at Polzeath beach, did some horseriding and we had an excellent meal at The Basement in Padstow. In spite of the weather we had a great time.
