  "On a cold wet day in the Cotswolds we received a magnificent welcome in the Kings Arms in the main Town Square. For eating we were spoiled for choice between the bar which was set out with scrubbed wooden tables and their Chop House Restaurant. Good range of food although the wines were a bit pricey...". The service was quick and friendly and when there was a delay in getting the main course served we were advised of a 10 minute wait straight away by the well trained staff.   "I visited the Cotswolds in mid-April. It was still winter there, but I had a very warm time indeed at Number Nine! Jim and Carol are really wonderful hosts, full of local information and advice on restaurants, and I felt like I was an old friend of theirs. Rates are very reasonable, and the "ful..."l English" breakfast is superb. I was in the top floor room, so I had to watch my head, but it wasn't really a problem, and Jim helped with my luggage up and down. He and Carol do everything possible to ensure your stay is comfortable and fun. This is the very best of a "B&B experience" and I recommend it highly. " More >

  "Just stayed 3 nights the accomodation was friendly beautiful clean high quality furnishings ,carpets,towels and bedding.Breakfast was cooked fresh every morning by Ray the bacon was delicious nothing was too much trouble.Breakfast is from 8.30 i would have liked it from 8.00am but thats just my pre..."ference.The parking is tight and as our mirrors dont fold in we parked on the road outside which was no problem as there are no restrictions between 6pm and 8am and other un restricted parking up the road.A beautiful place to stay quiet at night.The bathroom modern and again spotless,Tip the fan in the bathroom can be switched off when not needed by switch on wall outside door stops it coming on if you use bathroom in night .If you have trouble with mobility the stairs could be a problem.thank you for a pleasant stay hope Jill is soon better.A good place to eat is the stow hotel in the middle of the village good food pleasant staff and very good value.
