I think this was mostly because the swim pool is made for kids, there are different pools to play in and it is very clean. We didn't see as much wildlife at Whinfell although it was entertaining when a duck with 14 ducklings came round for breakfast every morning. We only managed to see 3 squirrels! I personally don't like everything being under the dome especially the eating places, the acoustics and the humidity is too much. Bella Italia was good but too noisy. We went for a meal in the Lakeside Inn, it was like being in a school dining room, wouldn't recommend, not a patch on Harvesters at Sherwood.
