We had booked into the restaurant for an evening meal and the menu offered a lot of choice and the food was well cooked and nicely presented. The staff were all helpful and friendly and the whole atmosphere of the hotel was very relaxing. There were a few downsides. It was a chilly day and it took a while for us to realise that our room was getting quite cold. There's a radiator in the bedroom but it's not possible to set the temperature. It turned out, when we rang reception, that the heating hadn't been turned on.
