  "I always think that the check-in process needs to be a special one for a guest as a grumpy check-in clerk instantly creates a negative impression. Needless to say this happened to me; it was almost as if the clerk simply disliked Marriott Platinum members (e.g. no arrival gift, no drinks coupons etc..."). I'd booked two rooms for two nights and after this check-in experience I wished I hadn't. I've stayed at this hotel before and generally found it ok. Everyone can have a bad day I suppose... The rooms had two double beds but that did not leave much room for anything else and the gaps between the beds and surrounding walls were small. The sun was shining for much of the days we stayed there and the rooms got hot very quickly; they really could do with air-conditioning. Breakfast in the mornings were fine although hot food supplies were always on the low side and staff were keen to be clearing tables and not replacing cutley/tablecloths etc even at 9:30am.   "Me and 2 colleagues stayed here Tuesday & Wednesday night of this week they shared a twin room and I had a double to myself, We all commented on what a find it was the breakfast was amazing and the facilities for this price are second to none. We were on a 3 day course being held at the Cedar Court..." hotel nearby where numerous colleague stayed and did nothing but moan about everything to do with the hotel and they had paid twice as much.
