  "We used the B&B as a quick stopover for a relatives birthday and what a little gem! The Cottage is set back off the main road near Penyfford Station. Plenty of parking and lovely, HUGE room decorated in a unique "medieval" style. Tea/Coffee facilities in room and the bathroom had a massive free-st..."anding bath with lots of little luxuries to use and plenty of towels. The only (very small) gripe was that due to the time of year, the room was a bit too cold for my liking however, this was soon settled with the electric blanket already on the bed for use! Owners lovely and friendly and we had the full english for breakfast, but there was cereal/yoghurts as well. All in for £60 for the room per night.   "Hidden away opposite Penyffordd railway station is a little B&B called Dove Cottage. Handy if you're visiting Wrexham as there's a really good service. There's only two rooms available so book early, it really is worth it. Set off the main road up a private road (heels not recommended ladies if you'..."re planning a local walk) it's set in large beautiful gardens much like a mini-stately home. The cottage itself is a renovated large house so even though it's definitely got that period look it never feels old-fashioned. The owners definitely like their interior design magazines as there are some beautiful design pieces around such as miniature grandfather clocks, beautiful double fronted antique wardrobes and chabby chic cushioned armchairs. I particularly liked the old trunk in our (massive) bathroom. The centre piece in the bathroom however was the freestanding bath complete with overhead rosehead shower. The bathroom even had a bidet.
