When mentioning this to Katie, she also questioned Laurence --- 'do you know Kwik-Fit ?'. 'No' came the answer, I just know their name --- we think Katie knows a lot !   "This pub was suggested to us by a friend who had stayed a couple of years back. We were touring the West coast of Scotland and stayed here for one night whilst on Mull (we stayed for a further two nights in Tobermory). The Craignure Inn is a few minutes from the ferry. Some may not like the fac..."t that it's so close (we were concerned about this before we travelled), but this has it's advantages: We drove off the ferry, turned left and within a few minutes we were having a beer in the bar! This meant that we could relax immediately (no driving to Tobermory or Iona for us tonight!) This gave us the chance to just 'stop' on the first night and get our 'Mull bearings'. We chatted to locals about things to see on Mull and simply had a chance to take in all of our surroundings. Also, the wash from the ferry stirs up the fish and brings otters in to the bay to feed.   "We stayed at Tiroran House at the end of April and had a glorious 4 days. To say that the hotel and its location is 'special' is an understatement. We had a lovely welcome from Laurence and Susan and were quickly and efficiently settled in and in no time at all we were relaxing and enjoying stunni..."ng views from out of the sitting room windows. We ate in the hotel on two occasions and the food was of an exceedingly high standard beginning with mouthwatering hors d'oeuvres after which we were led into the most charming little conservatory dining room where we were able to continue enjoying the views. After the Entrée we had a little interim savoury dish that was a total surprise and delicious followed by equally delicious main course and pudding.
