Yes, read that again, the Scottish NHS. The reason for this is that the complex was originally built as a private hospital and hotel by a private health organisation for in excess of £180 million in 1994. The venture failed and the complex was purchased for £37.5 million in 2002. I must say, these Scots know a bargain when they see one. The hotel itself is of a very high standard. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, although the beds are a little firm for my liking. They are a reasonable size, enough to take a three seater sofa, chair and table.   "Held our daughter's 21st, at the Radnor Park hotel on Sat.18th.May. Fantastic night, Mark, Jamie, Katie and Mary were terrific, could not have been more helpful. The hot buffet was delicious, most guests were up for 3rd and 4th helpings! Would recommend this hotel for your next function."

  "After getting a little lost to find the hotel at first we found it to be a very pleasant hotel. The room was large and so was the bed. The staff at reception were very warm and accommodating to our needs and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely return when back I'm the area. "
