  "My wife and I have just had another fantastic holiday at Dan O'Hara's. The very friendly welcome made us feel like coming home. As usual there was the now very warm welcome with a lovely pot of tea and home made scones and a good chat. The weather was very bad but we still enjoyed our holiday especially the ramble up the bohareen (small cow road) to Dan O'Hara's cottage on the hill-side and its welcoming warm turf (peat) fire. The peat is cut from the bog just down the way a little. Looking out the half-door at the very unseasonal wind and rain on the Connemara countryside and the smoke gently rising from the glowing fire was just heavenly. Spot, the dog and the hens were sheltering inside the door from the heavy rain and a force 8 westerly. • The Coach House
  "Paradise. I could have never wished for a better place to stay"
  "We have spent 3 fantastic days in the coach house in May 2013. It was a family gathering - there were 6 adults and 3 small kids between the age of 8 and 3. We also had 2 dogs with us. The house is gorgeous. The photographs on TripAdvisor definitely do not give the house justice. It is very bright,..." specious, clean and warm. The bedrooms are very big, each of them has wash basin. The beds are very comfy with good quality mattresses. The main bathroom is very comfortable and there is also a downstairs toilet. The house is well equipped, with washing machine, dryer, microwave, toaster, etc. The kids love the fact that there were lots of toys, jigsaw puzzles, board games and dvd's waiting for them. The collection of DVD's is actually very impressive, apart from kids' movies it contains lots of good movies for the grown-ups. Including some of my personal favorites, which was nice to discover.   "A family group of 12 rented the St George's cottage for 4 nights. The six bedrooms, each with bath, were each unique and beautifully decorated. There was plenty of hot water and great showers. The living areas were comfortable and there was a large dining table to fit all of us comfortably. The kitc..."hen was very functional and we cooked each breakfast and two dinners (there is a fully stocked grocery store in Moy Cullen, just down the road). Our hosts, Elizabeth (she goes by Marshall, her maiden name) and George McLaughlin, couldn't have been more hospitable. Marshall gave us a wonderful welcome and showed us around the 'cottage', common areas, and grounds. She was always available to our needs with a simple knock on the main house door. (When we couldn't get the gas cooktop to start, she came over with a lighter and showed us just how to make it work).
