  "So I booked a living social deal and after reading previous reviews I was worried as I had booked for myself and a group of friends . But away we went anyway . Well to start with John who I had booked with met us at the desk and was very nice and helpful , and over the course of our stay was at ..."all times there when I needed to ask anything , also another petit girl behind the desk was also very very helpful . At the last moment we had cause to arrange a small celebration for one of the girls where the manager supplied us with champaign classes and strawberries without us even asking . Food in both the bar and restaurant was good and so were the barmen . All in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel . We'll be back !!! " More >

  "Don't stop for a night like we did--stay at least two or three nights. You won't find a more delightful place in Ireland. Purpose-built by owner Seamus, everything works the way you want it to. The beds, the bathrooms, the living room for guests, the breakfast; you need something and POOF they ha..."ve thought of it. We arrived from a challenging day on the Wicklow Way hike; we and everything we were wearing were wet and dirty from a day of rain, hail, and even snow on the path. We were warmly met, served tea, and all our wet things were placed into a very warm closet so they dried within a few hours. Helper Hazel stuffed newspaper in my hiking boots so they wouldn't shrink. Later, Seamus drove us into town to the wonderful gem of a restaurant--Woods' Bistro--and gave us a tour of the film companies on-site and the most beautiful Lough Dan lake view.
