  "The hotel is a good 15 minute walk from the cathedral, and is actually mid-way between Clermont and Montferrand. The hotel is modern and in good condition, with large, well-equipped rooms (big bed and a settee) and with a small kitchen area with kettle, microwave and fridge. They are called suites, ..."but have only one main room. The breakfasts are good, although there seemed to be more people than tables when we stayed in early May. It must be quite a bun fight in the peak season. The car park is secure, with some spaces are ground level (very handy for mobility-impaired guests) and more underground. The daily parking rate is 12 Euros. Outside, the pavements have the usual French covering of dog mess, but no worse than anywhere else.
