  "La Reserve is a delightful French country house bed and breakfast. The room (the striped room) was charming and well appointed. Only problem was the hot water ran out in the mornings, so baths were only luke warm. Breakfasts were fantastic!"

I thought our cameras would just break from sheer "beauty exhaustion" as we visited the home and gardens of Monet. As if tha..."t wasn't enough, the beautiful walks to and from Giles's home and the lovely gardens of Helene itself were staggering. Lilacs and fruit trees were in bloom all over the place, irises just starting. Our stay in late April coincided perfectly spring's bursting into bloom. Our lovely room "Pecheurs de Lune" overlooked the front gardens and the gorgeous hillside across the street.The property is exactly as pictured and described on website. Our room was beautifully decorated and arranged, spacious, immaculate comfortable and so quiet. We loved sitting outside in the comfortable garden as well.   "We regretted that we were able to stay at the lovely home of Marie and Gilbert only one night! Our charming room was decorated by Marie in such fine taste. In addition to being very attractive, It was cozy and comfortable. The separate entrance was convenient and the large window looked out on ..."their beautifully landscaped back yard. It was only a 10-minute walk from Monet's Home & Garden, and tickets are available from Marie to avoid standing in line at the ticket window. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious expanded continental breakfast (which included freshly baked croissants) which Marie served to us in her beautiful sunny dining room. However, it was the host and hostess who made this B&B truly special and memorable. Their warmth, graciousness, and kindness during our visit were outstanding.
