  "We stayed here overnight on our way to La Plagne at February half term. They were fully booked but made available their attic at short notice to our family of six!! Well the attic is fantastic large living space, seoarate bathroom and plenty of space for plenty of beds including two defined bedrooms...". Stephanie and Thierry very welcoming and breakfast superb. The children loved it as they were taught how to drink chocolate out of a bowl. This was apparently how the french do it but more likely Thierry teaching us more bad habits. Will definitely stay again. Really good stopover to travel onto the ski resorts breaking the back of the journey and very little left the following day. A shame we couldn't stay longer. " More >

  "My husband and I spent only one night at the Ferme de la Vallée d'Arche (in order to break up a drive from the Alps to Paris) and I wish we could have stayed longer. Not only is the setting peaceful and authentic but the owners are so very welcoming and charming. They have lived in other parts of ..."the world and obviously enjoy meeting people and welcoming them to their home. We stayed in their home, rather than the gîte, and had a very comfortable room with a small terrace and a spacious bath. We also enjoyed having dinner with the owners which was delicious and a great way to spend an evening, especially when your objective is rest for another day of driving. You need to reserve in advance in order to dine with the owners. The decor of the home is original and appropriate to this historic property.
