I would have liked to been able to stream content from my ipad to the TV using Apple TV. Regardless the rooms were absolutely perfect. There are two reasons that I did not give this hotel 5 stars. 1. All in my party agree that it is severely overstaffed. I know that is weird to say, but stay there and you will get what I mean. In the lobby we were greeted by three or four bellmen, then once we entered there were two people standing right in the lobby and a third was manning the lobby looking to get people drinks. The pier for leisure boat tours is across the road as are restaurants( highly recommend the Ganymed, a French restaurant on the left after the bridge), snack bars, the Friedrichstadt Palast (for an amazing international show) as well as a range of smart shops (the Shoe City has an amazing collection of shoes for all tastes). The whole area is very safe. RECEPTION and STAFF: All staff have to be congratulated for the sterling service they offer: unintrusive but helpful.
