The hotel is right next to the church; I mean the church just filled up our window view. We like the sound of the bells, but I suppose the one downside to this hotel, if there is a downside, would be the church bells. Anyway, we showed up about 9AM and they showed us into the room so we could drop our things. The room was simple, but clean and had everything we needed.   "The hotel is not fully renovated, but the room was very clean and that is what matters. In town walking in 20 minutes, free parking outside, nice area. Although I don't think Lubeck has a bad area :) Near a Shell, didn't have breakfast so don't know how that is."

The Marienkirche church is across the street, so the bells can be loud as well as a construction site next door, but the double glazed window kept the noise out.
